The Trail Tamers are hosting a trail project at Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center in the David Mountains of West Texas during the week of March 1st through March 6th. We will perform routine maintenance on the CDRI trails and repair the rock steps on the Clayton's Overlook trail and improve the signage on the Lion's Head Hill.
This location is also known as the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI). You can check out their website at http://www.cdri.org.
Registration: Registration is open to members of the Central Texas Trail Tamers.
The participation fee of $75 will cover the cost of meals. We will be camping at the Nature Center. The CDRI has bathrooms, showers and a washer and dryer available.
Mark Schneider is the crew leader for the project.
The Central Texas Trail Tamers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
