The Central Texas Trail Tamers are hosting a trail project at Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center March 1st through March 6th. This location is also known as the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI). You can check out their website at http://www.cdri.org.
We will repair the rock steps on the Clayton's Overlook trail and improve the signage on the Lion's Head Hill.
Registration: Registration is open to members of the Central Texas Trail Tamers.
The participation fee of $75 will cover the cost of meals. We will be camping at the Nature Center. The CDRI has bathrooms, showers and a washer and dryer available.
