The Central Texas Trail Tamers return to the beautiful Love Creek Preserve this December to continue work on the trail starting at the Stewardship center and climbing to the top of the escarpment. This trail has been designed and built by the Trail Tamers from start to finish.  This trip should allow us to finish the trail such that it is safe for all users, so this should be our last major trail construction project for this trail. I'm looking forward to celebrating finishing this trail. Feel free to arrive Sunday evening and be ready to gather for our safety meeting by 8 a.m. Monday morning.

There is a minimum $5 a day charge for all Trail Tamer projects. You must be a member of the Trail Tamers for this trip and provide your own meals. An indoor kitchen will be available in the stewardship center. While there will be opportunities to have shared meals, we still need to be careful about gathering too closely while Covid is a thing. There are multiple tent sites available. Establishing a self-sufficient camping site is highly recommended. You may also stay in an RV if you have one. Hookups are not available.

With regard to COVID-19, only members who are fully vaccinated may attend our projects. Trail Tamers need to be symptom free immediately before and throughout any project.

Registration: The fee for this project is $25 and will be used to cover basic Trail Tamer organization expenses. Registration is open only to members of the Central Texas Trail Tamers. Sign up now for what has become a traditional year-end celebration for the Trail Tamers.

Angie Hardy will be the crew leader.

The Central Texas Trail Tamers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
