Join the Trail Tamers and the Hill Country Conservancy (HCC) in building a new trail for bird watchers exploring the Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve on Lake Austin. Registration is open to the general public.
The Preserve is a 35-acre tract on the banks of Lake Austin that is managed by the HCC with the central mission of enhancing wildlife habitat. The Preserve is managed primarily for the benefit of songbirds, small mammals, and for migratory, wintering and breeding waterfowl. Visit the HCC Nalle Bunny Bun Preserve webpage to learn more about the preserve.
Be prepared to work in the heat and bring your own water and work gloves.
Kevin Deiters is the crew leader for the project.
