The Trail Tamers are looking for eight volunteers to conduct an assessment of the Shield Ranch Two Creek Trail on May 18th. The crew will make repairs to the trails and assist in making recommendations about trail maintenance and erosion control.
The crew will meet at the Shield Ranch gate (16037 Hamilton Pool Road) at 8:30 am. Volunteers should be prepared to hike and work in the heat. Hydrate before you arrive and bring water. Pack a lunch.
Directions from Austin: Drive to Bee Cave via Bee Caves Rd., Southwest Parkway or US 71. From Bee Cave, take US 71 north past RM 620. Turn left at the next traffic light at RR 3238 (Hamilton Pool Road) and drive approximately 3 miles.
