The Trail Tamers are partnering up with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) to build a reroute of the Onion Creek Trail at McKinney Falls State Park in Austin.

The trail crew at TPWD has done a great job of routing this trail to protect the natural and cultural resources found in this park.  The proposed trail is approximately 1.4 miles and will need hundreds of volunteer hours to get built.

This is a great project for volunteers in the Austin area to get involved in.  The Trail Tamers will sponsor volunteer work projects during the first and third Saturday mornings of each month until the project is completed.

The Central Texas Trail Tamers is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
